چکیده
This study identified the Pleistocene depositional succession of group (A) (marine, estuarine, and fluvial systems) Melor Inas fields in central Malay Basin from seafloor to approximately −507 ms (522 m). During last few years, hydrocarbon exploration has moved focus on stratigraphic traps, specifically those that existed with channel sands. These traps motivate carrying out this research image locate these kinds traps. It can be difficult determine if closely spaced-out channels belts exist within several seismic sequences map-view proper sequence geomorphic elements surfaces cross lines, or probably reinforce auto-cyclic aggregational stacking avulsing rivers precisely. analysis overcomes challenge by combining well-log three-dimensional (3D) data resolve deposition discontinuities’ considerable resolution. Three-dimensional volume high-resolution two-dimensional (2D) sections wells were utilized. A stratigraphy framework three main (3rd order), four Parasequences sets (4th seven (5th order) have been established. The time slice images at consecutive two-way times display single meandering ranging width 170 900 m. Moreover, other geomorphological perfectly imaged, such as interfluves, incised valleys, chute cutoff, point bars, extinction surfaces, providing proof rapid growth transformation deposits. 2D Cosine Phase attributes facilitated identifying reflection terminations against amplitude. Several continuous discontinuous channels, marine sediments through addressed. whole series reveals almost all systems lay valleys each sequence’s bottom bars. degradational patterns are characterized no evidence aggradation. aggradation stage is restricted sedimentation incursions. 3D description deposits permits distinguishing facies abandoned mud sand bar channel, which filled muddy deposits, may function horizontal barriers baffles might isolate reservoir body into separate storage containers. 3rd, 4th, 5th orders established for studied succession. essential imaged utilizing attributes.

Significance of ichnofossils in high resolution sequence stratigraphy: Upper Maastrichtian, Kopeh- Dagh Basin, NE Iran
This study shows that ichonology can be used to refine sequence stratigraphy as well as to interpret the depositional environment of the Kalat Formation (Upper Maastrichtian) in the Central Kopeh- Dagh Basin (NE Iran), Dareh-Gaz section. Field studies and petrography of these deposits led to recognize four lithofacies and nine subfacies that formed in the tidal flat (lithofacies A), lagoon (lit...

متن کاملConstrained Seismic Sequence Stratigraphy of Asmari - Kajhdumi interval with well-log Data
Sequence stratigraphy is a key step in interpretation of the seismic reflection data. It was originally developed by seismic specialists, and then the usage of high-resolution well logs and core data was taken into consideration in its implementation. The current paper aims in performing sequence stratigraphy using three-dimensional seismic data, well logs (gamma ray, sonic, porosity, density, ...
متن کاملSequence Stratigraphy
Sequence stratigraphy is the study of sediments and sedimentary rocks in terms of repetitively arranged facies and associated stratal geometry (Vail 1987; Van Wagoner et al 1988, 1990; Christie-Blick 1991). It is a technique that can be traced back to the work of Sloss et al (1949), Sloss (1950, 1963), and Wheeler (1958) on interregional unconformities of the North American craton, but it becam...
